Two ex Gateshead Fell C.C. cricketers have started a new business, repairing / refurbishing cricket bats.

After successfully completing repairs and refurbishments for local North East players over recent months, they have now decided to expand the business nationally.

Take a look at the photos for before and after repair / refurbishment. The before photo shows a bat with a badly damaged inside edge. The after photo shows the finished product after repair / refurbishment.

Take a look at the list below for the typical scope of work that will be undertaken to make your cricket bat ready for the season.

Work Content:

Remove any bat tape
Remove any bat face cover that would effect any repair
Clean with sand paper & identify any damage
Repair cracks
Repair / treat surface cracks
Clean with sand paper
Apply bat oil
Apply bat tape to repaired areas for added protection
Fit new standard rubber handle grip (see order form)
Waterproof bat toe

NB - Bat manufacturers stickers / logos may be damaged or possibly have to be removed during the course of the work, however every effort will be made to keep them intact.

Anti-scuff Bat face cover - £7
Additional standard rubber handle grips - £4 each
Deluxe rubber handle grips - £6
